GFSEC membership is open to all G20 members and interested members of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

All GFSEC members participate on an equal footing and decisions are taken by consensus.

Chairs

Brazil and Germany are serving as Co-Chairs in 2022.


Steering Group

The Global Forum's Steering Group is composed of no more than nine members, including the incumbent G20 presidency member. The Steering Group is composed of the European Union, Korea, Brazil, India, Japan, Russia, Turkey and the United States. 


Facilitator

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) serves as facilitator, supporting the GFSEC, its steering group and chairs with analytical, technical and logistical assistance.
